The Association of Midlands Mediators (AMM) is the professional association for mediators practising in the Midlands region of the United Kingdom.
AMM was formed in 2000 to foster the growth of civil and commercial mediation in the Midlands and to maintain and monitor high standards of training and practice by its members. Since then it has expanded its remit to include all matters related to civil, commercial, workplace, employment and other non-family mediation.
All of its mediators are accredited by Civil Mediation Council approved training bodies and are required to undertake continuing professional development. Read more about AMM here.
Mediation is a voluntary process in which a neutral person helps parties to find a mutually acceptable solution to a dispute. Mediation is a highly effective, confidential, economic and speedy process. Read more about mediation here.

 "The recent economic downturn brought with it considerable challenges. The Association of Midlands Mediators has its part to play in helping solve the inevitable disputes those challenges create. 2011 heralds a renewing of AMM’s commitment to its members and to those looking to appoint our mediators to help resolve their disputes. This year AMM has an excellent programme of members’ evenings and training courses (including a half day Spring training conference following the success of the Autumn conference held in November 2010) and has extended its scheme for mentoring less experienced mediators.
